My friend Jessica Kay recently shot these special photos of us atop the majestic Bell Mountain. Located in Healdsburg, Bell Mountain Ranch is the core of Medlock Ames (a local winery that is 100% certified organic and biodynamic). This rustic property consists of 338 acres of land, with much of it left untouched to preserve the oak trees and open space.
55 acres are devoted to growing all of the certified organic grapes that are eventually harvested for Medlock Ames wine. There are also 800 olive trees and an organic garden full of seasonal vegetables and flowers.

We ended up finding a perfect little spot in the shade under one of the beautiful olive trees. We set our blanket down and enjoyed a little picnic that included a bottle of Medlock Ames 2020 Organic Rosè.
This Rosè is quite honestly one of the best I’ve tried in a while. It has notes of candied berries and white peach with a creamy round finish. I could sip on this alone anytime, but it would also be pretty perfect on a spring or summer day paired with some freshly grilled veggies.

I am no wine expert, but I do love and appreciate wine and what it takes for a beautiful bottle to come to life. I am always learning and like to know the facts about the wine I drink. Below I have listed some key facts about this Rosè.
