Guests that visit Bricoleur Vineyards have a wide range of options when it comes to wine and food. You can sip and savor wines on their own, select one of their food-paired tastings that come with freshly prepared “little bites”, or simply place an order from the seasonal menu prepared by the Bricoleur Culinary Team.
On our visit we enjoyed the “Home Grown” tasting flight that is compromised of four estate wines. In this option we were able to sample two estate Chardonnay (one aged in stainless steel and one in French Oak). I really enjoyed being able to try these back-to-back. Chardonnay can truly change depending on what type of vessel it’s aged in. Both wines were excellent, but I really preferred the one aged in French Oak. The other two wines were an estate Pinot Noir and an estate Pinot Noir of Rosè. The Pinot Noir was INSANELY good and deserves a full blog post of its own…stay tuned for that!

One of the highlights of Bricoleur are the numerous trellis’ and colorful gardens throughout the property. It is also a kid-friendly environment and very welcoming to families. Our host that day was so sweet and even brought over a little bowl of fish food so our little boy could feed the fish and ducks. Braedon was elated! It was so nice for him to have something extra special to do while we sat as a family and enjoyed our time together.
Things of note:
“Bricoleur” is French and means — One who starts building something with no clear plan, adding bits here and there, cobbling together a whole while flying by the seat of their pants!
Bricoluer Vineyards opened in 2020 and is family-owned. It sits on 40 acres of land located on the outskirts of Windsor (a quaint wine country town in Sonoma County just a few short miles from downtown Healdsburg).
This is a kid AND dog-friendly winery..hooray! All they ask is that kids and dogs are supervised at all times.
