One of my favorite places to hike is Jack London State Historic Park. This is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever been to. Rich in history and full of delicious golden light, it is the perfect place to bring your camera along.

The park has several different trails to explore, making it the perfect option for all hiking levels. We opted for the Beauty Ranch Historic Trail that weaves in and around rolling hills of vineyards, barns and cobblestone winery ruins.

The Beauty Ranch Historic Trail is nice and wide to accommodate strollers and bikes, making it a perfect choice for families. One thing to note, is that there is an entrance fee of $10. The fee takes care of parking your car and allows access to the entire park.

The park is a sprawling 1400 acres with over 29 miles of trails to explore.
