Over the weekend I took my little boy to Monte-Bellaria Di California to check out the lavender. WOW, is all I can say. I have been to a handful of lavender farms throughout Oregon and California, but this one really is a stand-out. With rolling hills, mature oak trees and many scenic outlooks, it is quite the sight to see.
Monte-Bellaria Di California is family-owned and located in Sonoma County. This particular farm specializes in high-quality lavender, olive oil and honey. They offer tours on the weekends for $5 and keep their cute little retail store open from 10-4. Lavender-infused honey, estate-grown olive oil and lavender lip balm are a few of the delightful products you will find inside their store.

Monte Bellaria Di California is about to have their “high bloom” season. They are currently selling tickets on their website with designated time slots. Their “high bloom” season is usually from June 18 to July 31. I can only imagine how spectacular and vibrant the rolling hills will be during this time! I may even have to make another drive out to see the farm in full bloom myself.
