This week was our first time riding on one of San Francisco’s iconic cable cars and it did not disappoint.
Each cable car was adorned with beautiful decorations for the holiday season, making the ride feel even more festive and special for my little boy.
There are a few places throughout the city where you can get in line to catch a ride. We opted for the cable car turntable, where Powell meets Market Street.
It cost us $8 per ticket to go one way (kids 4 and under ride free). The kiosk we purchased our tickets from took all forms of payment and was located right next to the Powell/Market turntable.
I can’t believe that it took me so long to do this super fun and affordable family outing. Definitely add an S.F. cable car ride to your bucket list if you haven’t already gone.
